Tracy L. Pearson
Associate Attorney
Tracy L. Pearson, a northern Virginia native, established her home in Delaware after graduating cum laude from the University of Delaware in 2004. Prior to obtaining her law degree from Widener University in 2009, Tracy was an investigator of child abuse and neglect for the Division of Family Services. Possessing a passion for helping children and families, Tracy has over 9 years of experience in Delaware Family Court. From testifying as a social worker, serving as a law clerk for two Family Court Judges, representing clients in private family civil matters ranging from – divorce, property division, alimony, child support, custody, guardianship, termination of parental rights and adoption – and most recently serving as a prosecutor in the Family Division of the Delaware Department of Justice.
In her role as Deputy Attorney General, Tracy handled thousands of child support cases, helped hundreds of dependent, abused, and neglected children, and prosecuted misdemeanor juvenile criminal matters. Tracy also has experience in real estate, debt collection, and small entity corporate matters. In addition to the practice of law, Tracy is a faculty instructor for the University of Delaware’s paralegal program. She lives with her family in North Wilmington, Delaware.
